
The second cover I chose to analyse is "This Song Is About You" by The Enemy.
The main image is simply a picture of a crowd, probably taken at a gig, the main focus is on a fan who is elevated from the crowd and is wearing a t-shirt saying 'I Love COV', which refers to Coventry, where the band originated.
A bold font is used which makes the band name stand out, and intergrated into the band name is the title of the album. This makes the consumer take a closer look to find the name of the album.
Some good analysis of covers here Jordan, but that's about it. You need to have a look at Amy's and Jess' blogs to see the standard that is expected. I want to move onto planning next week, so it's up to you to catch-up. You need deatiled analysis of videos, covers, and posters from the bands you're interested in, commenting on synergy, convergence and intertextuality as well as the usual concepts. Otherwise I'll have to 'invite' you to coursework club...
